Review of a 2-day private tour from Ulaanbaatar to Kharkhorin and Elsen Tasarkhai, with monastery visits, sand dunes, and a nomad homestay.

“The trip to Kharhorin was an unforgettable experience! Even the journey there took me through an impressive landscape of endless steppes, gentle hills, and small nomadic camps. One of the highlights was the visit to Erdene Zuu Monastery, the oldest Buddhist monastery in Mongolia. We were even lucky enough to see a film being shot there, which was a unique bonus. This allowed me to experience Mongolian hospitality up close and try traditional dishes, making the trip feel even more authentic. “O think this was an incredible expensive tour with very poor offer. It began with no one answering to my messages. Then we went on the tour but they only one small bottle of water. The lunch at the local family was miserable and the family not nice at all. Then sleeping in the get ok but in the morning was me that had to wake up the guide. On the returning we didn’t do the national park with horses because of weather conditions. No one offer me an alternative and just drove me back. I have to say I will never book with viator again”
